Take Control of Your Future

If you’re an international student and you have graduated from an Australian university then you’re most likely eligible for a Professional Year Program. The Professional Year Program is specifically designed for students like you who are looking for a successful pathway from university to employment and residency in Australia.

Our Partners

We provide Professional Year Programs through our partnership with the Australian Technical & Management College (ATMC). The program is run by highly experienced trainers who take a keen interest in your educational journey.

ATMC is a nationally recognised educational institute with campuses in the Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne. ATMC offers an exciting collection of qualifications spanning from diplomas to masters degrees in the fields of Information Technology, Information Systems, Business and Accounting.

Internship

The internship provides practical work experience for participants to develop professional skills which will enable them to operate effectively across Australian industries and business environments.

The program works with students to develop, enhance and tailor their CV’s for entry into the Australian workplace.

Participants must complete the internship in 250 hours over a period of 12 weeks. Students are able to utilise first-hand the skills and knowledge learned during the two classroom-based training and workshop units.

Each internship has been specifically designed to complement the participant’s studies and prepare them for a career in their chosen field. Participants will be introduced to both the technical and commercial aspects of a business through observation and supervised practice.

Participants completing internships at employer companies are given the opportunity to work on existing projects and directly assist and/or observe Project Managers.
